Vikings Add Another CB

In just three days, the Minnesota Vikings have made some major moves to strengthen their team for the upcoming season. With the addition of Ryan Kelly at center, Will Fries at guard, and Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave at defensive tackle, the Vikings are showing their commitment to building a strong and competitive team.

The first big move came with the signing of Ryan Kelly, a Pro Bowl center from the Indianapolis Colts. Kelly brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Vikings offensive line. He has been a consistent performer for the Colts, starting in all 51 games he has played in since being drafted in 2016. His leadership and ability to read defenses will be a valuable asset to the Vikings’ offense.

Next, the Vikings added Will Fries, a versatile offensive lineman from Penn State. Fries has experience playing both guard and tackle, making him a valuable addition to the Vikings’ offensive line. He is known for his strength and agility, which will help him excel in both run and pass blocking. With his strong work ethic and determination, Fries has the potential to become a key player for the Vikings in the years to come.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Vikings made two significant signings in Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave. Allen, a former first-round pick, joins the Vikings after spending his first four seasons with the Washington Football Team. He is a dominant force on the defensive line, with 17 sacks and 139 tackles in his career. His ability to disrupt the opposing team’s offense will be a huge asset for the Vikings.

Javon Hargrave, a former standout for the Philadelphia Eagles, also joins the Vikings’ defensive line. Hargrave is known for his quickness and agility, making him a formidable pass rusher. He has recorded 14.5 sacks in his career and is expected to bring a new level of intensity to the Vikings’ defense. With Allen and Hargrave now on the team, the Vikings’ defensive line is shaping up to be one of the best in the league.

But the Vikings didn’t stop there. In a surprise move, they also added Isaiah Wilson, a promising young offensive tackle from the Miami Dolphins. Wilson was a first-round pick in the 2020 draft but struggled to find success in Miami. However, the Vikings saw potential in him and decided to take a chance on the talented lineman. With the right guidance and coaching, Wilson has the potential to become a key player for the Vikings in the future.

These signings show that the Vikings are serious about building a strong and competitive team. They have addressed key positions on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, and have added talented players who have the potential to make an immediate impact.

But it’s not just about the players on the field. The Vikings have also made some changes to their coaching staff, bringing in new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and defensive coordinator Andre Patterson. These changes, along with the new additions to the team, show that the Vikings are committed to improving and evolving as a team.

With these moves, the Vikings are sending a clear message to their fans and the rest of the league – they are determined to win. The upcoming season is sure to be an exciting one for Vikings fans, as they watch their team take the field with a new and improved roster.

So, let’s raise our horns and welcome Ryan Kelly, Will Fries, Jonathan Allen, Javon Hargrave, and Isaiah Wilson to the Minnesota Vikings family. With their talent and determination, they are sure to help lead the Vikings to victory in the upcoming season. Skol Vikings!
