ActionSA says DA’s case against Tshwane’s Deputy Mayor attempt to deflect from own failures

ActionSA, the newly formed political party, has dismissed the recent case brought against its leader Herman Mashaba by the Democratic Alliance (DA) as nothing more than a desperate attempt to deflect attention from its own failures.

In a statement released on Monday, ActionSA accused the DA of using Mashaba as a scapegoat to cover up its own shortcomings and inability to deliver on its promises to the people of South Africa.

The DA has accused Mashaba, who is also the former mayor of Johannesburg, of illegally appointing the former Speaker of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, Ntombi Mekgwe, as the City Manager during his tenure as mayor. The party claims that this appointment was made without following proper procedures and is therefore unlawful.

However, ActionSA has vehemently denied these allegations, stating that Mashaba followed all the necessary legal procedures in the appointment of Mekgwe. They argue that the DA’s case is baseless and lacks any evidence to support their claims.

In fact, ActionSA believes that the DA’s real intention is to divert attention from its own failures, particularly in the City of Johannesburg, where they lost control of the municipality in the 2019 elections. The party has been struggling to regain its footing in the city and has resorted to using Mashaba as a scapegoat to gain political mileage.

ActionSA has also pointed out that the DA’s sudden interest in this matter, which happened over two years ago, is suspicious and raises questions about their motives. The party believes that the DA’s case is politically motivated and is an attempt to discredit Mashaba and his new party, which has been gaining significant support since its launch.

Furthermore, ActionSA has highlighted the fact that the DA has failed to deliver on its promises to the people of South Africa, especially in areas where it is in control. The party has accused the DA of being more interested in political point-scoring rather than focusing on delivering real change and improvement in the lives of South Africans.

ActionSA has also pointed out the DA’s lack of diversity and inclusivity within the party, which has been a major criticism against them. The party believes that the DA’s case against Mashaba is a desperate attempt to divert attention from these issues and portray themselves as a united and strong party.

In contrast, ActionSA has been gaining momentum and support from people across the country, with its message of inclusivity, diversity and real change. The party has been actively working towards building a South Africa that is free from corruption, where all citizens have equal opportunities and access to basic services.

In conclusion, ActionSA has dismissed the DA’s case against Mashaba as a mere attempt to deflect from its own failures and lack of progress. The party has called on the DA to focus on delivering real change and improvement for the people of South Africa, rather than resorting to petty political tactics. As ActionSA continues to gain support and momentum, it remains committed to its vision of building a better South Africa for all its citizens.
